TRANSCRIPTION OF MY PART

Oral Presentation

Introduction

Like everything, new technologies have some important companies and some not as important. Three of that important companies are Apple, Microsoft and Google. They’re not the same type of company, but they both affect society someway. For example, the Apple logo it’s one of the most popular logos all over the world. We’re going to explain the past, the present and the future about these three companies.

Apple Inc. - Franc P

History

When Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak meet in 1971, they were two young men very interested in electronic systems, so they start to produce personal computers as a little business and for winning prizes. Later, many people asked them for these personal computers, so they started to make money fast. Apple was found in 1976, when Mike Markkula invested in the company. In 1984 Apple started to sell the Macintosh.

Present

Today, the Job’s company is one of the most richest of the world, and sells not only personal computers. It sells products as iPod- a mp3 player-, iPhone- a mobile-, and iWork- some software similar to Microsoft Office.

Future (project)

Apple is going to update iPhone with the 4th Generation edition, which will have a multitask operative system and lots of applications more.

Writing

I've had a very big problem. My father Miquel met my girlfriend a month ago and the talked about me. My father thinks that my girlfriend is a bad influence on me and he doesn't want to see her any more.
I'm angry because my parents don't know my girlfriend and they can't give an opinion. My solution is that my parents don't interfere in that situation because it's my life.
I don't know! I'd really like some advice because if I don't do something soon, I'll probably lose my girlfriend.

Man Utd is one of the most important club in around the world and it's also one of the more richest (1.3 billion). Ronaldo and in the actuality Wayne Rooney and Rayan Giggs.

Spotify

Spotify is a program which is used to listen to music. For music fans, this Swedish web service offers the best of both worlds: free music that is legal. You just take a free subscription to the service, listen any music you want, and agree to be subjected to the occasional advert in return.
In my opinion this program is one of the best inventions in the world of the new technologies.

INTERNET AND BOOKS

Internet changed the world in the last 30 years . Before the Internet was invented , searching information and contacting people were more difficult than in the actuality. Internet needs electricity for working

Books, on the other hand, are simpler. When you read it you don't read it more than one time. They don't use electricity but for the making of the books, you need a lot of electricity.

All in all, I think that the Internet is a better invention, because it is more expensive than a book.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to enquire about the lottery funds for a community project in our town.
Banyoles is a big town in the east of Spain. There are a lot of interesting places in and around the town, but there is one sport centre but it is old and nobody goes there to practice sport. For that reason, we would like to build a new sport centre here. This centre could provide activities and information for all the people of Banyoles.
I would be grateful if you could send me information about lottery grants. If you have any questions about our project, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours faithfully,
Franc Pedro

END OF CROCS boulder, colorado

Crocs, the trendy footwear, is a victim of its own popularity. Last year th Colorado-based company fired 2000 employees ( a third of its workforce ) after losing more than $185 million. In the past seven years 100 million pairs of the clogs were sold. But now there is a surplus, and with cheap fake Crocs on the market, bankruptcy seems inevitable.

PROFILE

My name's Diego and I've been a dumb person since I was born. When I was younger I had to learn special skills. I'm at the Secondary School now. I'm studying English.

Life is a bit different for me sometimes. For example, I have to meet new people, I have never read anything and I have never talk to another person. I need help with one thing, I need one person for translate. At secondary school i work in a different class that my friends.

There are some things which annoy me! Watching a football match, films, for example. If I'm in a place like a stadium, I can't talk with other people about hoe the match has gone.
